The ASSEMBLY is designed as an educational platform that presents both a fact-based and knowledge-based assessment of the current business climate, and identifies existing and emerging opportunities for growth in the mountain travel industry. In the longer term, The ASSEMBLY seeks to establish an open environment that affords attendees the opportunity to identify areas for further collaboration among peer stakeholders and potential solutions to common issues. The success and lessons learned continue to advance the conversation toward creating a more robust year-round mountain tourism business environment.
ASSEMBLY Partners and Presenters are a collaboration of North American mountain resorts, associations and public sector organizations with common interests in both winter and broader year-round mountain tourism. The ASSEMBLY is produced by DestiMetrics LLC (formerly MTRiP) as part of their KnowledgeBase, providing “What You Ought to Know” to do better business.
DestiMetrics provides resort intelligence through its travel research programs for leisure destinations, including three primary components: destination lodging performance measurements, market intelligence and comparative evaluations.
The ASSEMBLY 2014 features a two-part agenda with distinct half-day segments designed to provide an executive level overview of the current business climate followed by a series of breakout sessions that will take an in-depth look at the issues and trends that most impact mountain tourism. Combined, this year’s ASSEMBLY affords a comprehensive analysis of “what you ought to know” as a stakeholder in year-round mountain travel.
